A Day in the Life of Samantha Brown
I know you’re wondering: What does a day in the life of Samantha Brown look like?
I love to travel, but there really is no place like home.
I’ve called New York my hometown for nearly 25 years, and it just never gets old. I know some people think it’s crazy to live in a city so big, but once you get settled in a neighborhood, everything does end up feeling much more like a small town than you’d expect. From my local coffee shop (hello, Cafe Martin… home to life-changing cappuccinos served with a bit of snark), to visiting my local post office and favorite vintage store, there’s just something about being in your own neighborhood that’s so refreshing. And as an added NYC perk: there’s so many great businesses all within walking distance of our house. I barely ever need to drive, which I’m thankful for. Living in the Big Apple really is great exercise.
I love being a regular at these spots, especially since it allows me to get away with a few shenanigans, like the one I pulled at (the now sadly defunct) Trois Pommes Bakery. I promise I went back and paid… eventually.
Does anything surprise you about my day? Sound off in the comments below.

Where can I write you? I’ll send you tons of fan mail, I’m a big ‘ol fan!
Ahhh. Watching this made me really miss living in Brooklyn (I left 5 years ago now, for beautiful Skaneateles, NY) but it allowed me to live vicariously through you for 3 minutes. Swoon <3
My niece just opened a boutique there, Post Alley she only sells made in America, and show cases unknown designers. Check it out. Her name is Angela & she has a FB 4 her store
Too funny! Loved that piece, especially Martin…he is so warm and fuzzy. ; )
Clearly a plea for more fan mail! And cookies?
I miss living in Park Slope! I *really* miss living around the corner from Bierkraft…
You look glowingly happy at home! Would you believe my small NH town STILL does not have a coffee shop or bakery-much less a store that sells shoes?! Great to see you:)
I love everything about you Sam. I have watched you from the beginning and each episode much more then once. Can’t get enough and miss you. Your sense of humor knocks my socks off. The clear diction that you have is heaven for my hard of hearing ears. It sure doesn’t hurt that you are beautiful too.
I wish you and hubby the very best and wish you an easy delivery for your babies.
Hope to see you soon. I’ll keep checking to see when you are coming back to TV
Egyptian cotton is long staple cotton, highly absorbent and breathable.
s time to let go of that boring work bag of yours and select this chic 1.
They are also a good buy as a first bassinet mattress, too.
Hahahaa You and Martin should do a comedy show! 😀
any concrete plans to make the Travel Channel (or some othert channel) worth watching?
My husband and I LOVE Samantha!! We watch everything she does!! I grew up in Winter Park Fl and loved when she did the Wine Room, one of our hangouts. Now I am hooked on her luggage!! More Samantha please!!!

I love your new show. Guessing where you are is a blast. I have traveled a bit so this one wasn’t too tough, however, the BBQ thru me off for a short time.
