Just learned that Khatera from our very first episode of Places to Love; Houston received her US citizenship. It took her 14 years of being a refugee and she did it. I met her thru a great initiative called Community Cloth. She was hand making handbags to earn money to pay for her nursing school. Great person. A lot of hard work. Congratulations!!!!Image attachment

My favorite memory of visiting the Cathedral was the announcement made over the loud speaker when the noise of the 1,000s of visitors inside became disrespectfully loud

Heartbreaking to see now. But has no doubt rallied the goodwill and love we have to one of the worlds greatest treasures

Can’t wait to do an episode in Paris where I can put the “Silence man” on camera.

Sad

Always looking gorgeous Sam! ❤️

What a cutie, 😍😘

It is heartbreaking but so glad it wasn't a total and complete loss. Here's hoping to restoring what can be restored and recreating with new inspiration and spiritual art.

I wanted to shhhhush people too. So awe inspiring

I am heartbroken. I missed it the last time I was in Paris. 💙💙

So Gorgeous....

Always loved that voice. The first time I heard it my wife asked "was that God?" . Sad to see it in this state.

We heard the same voice at the Sistine Chapel!! Continued prayers for all involved with Notre Dame in any way.

My favorite part was climbing the bell tower to photograph the city through the eyes of the gargoyles....

You're luck to have seen it in it's glory

you got nice teeth and gums, lol :)

Heather Laabs like the Sistine chapel

At least you have your memories of a beautiful place!

Pretty as always!!

You are a cutie pie.

Great memory.

I wonder if God and his only son wood approve of all the millions that are planned to be spent on a place of worship rather than the thousands of people starving in this world?

Three yrs. ago 😪

Yes. It’s kinda funny at the time but in reality, he shouldn’t have to tell people to be quiet. It’s a church with people worshipping while throngs of people mill about chatting. People should automatically be quiet, reverent or at least considerate.

Love watching your shows so interesting and fun

I remember visiting in 2006 and wanting very badly to take photos with my cheap disposable camera...I was afraid to because of the No Photos signs...but then I noticed that everyone else was snapping away so I took some very poor quality pics.....

Hope you do go back and film an Episode. 😊. Nice picture!
