Washington DC’s best kept secret for sightseeing
Want an unparalleled view of Washington DC? Head out on the Potomac!
Though Jack’s Boathouse is now Key Bridge Boathouse, it’s still an absolutely beautiful was to see the city. I was absolutely stunned by the views of the Watergate Hotel, Lincoln and Washington monuments. Add in the fact that you get a little sunshine and exercise, and it might just make for the perfect day of sightseeing.
Key Bridge Boathouse also offers stand-up paddle board rentals and fitness classes. If you’re looking for a more in-depth tour, sign up for their daytime, 90-minute monument kayak tour. On a full moon, they offer moonlit monument tours. How cool is that? Find more info here.
Have you kayaked the Potomac? What did you think? Share in the comments!

If you’re not into kayaking – take a moonlight monument cruise on the Potomac! Amazing!!!! I’ve recommended the moonlight cruise tour to 3 different families taking DC trips and they all returned saying it was the highlight of their trips!
