Leaving Your Charger Behind
Forgot your charger? No worries…
I always forget to pack at least one charger for one of my devices that I desperately need. Luckily there are just as many people who forget their chargers in the electrical sockets of hotels and so before you run out to buy another charger you don’t need — ask the hotel’s front desk if you could borrow one left behind. They always have a drawer or shoe box full of them. Same is true for adapters. You forgot to bring yours but you can bet someone else forgot to take theirs. It’s really a perfect system don’t you think?
What’s the one critical item you always seem to leave behind when you travel?

This is why I make it a point to keep a checklist of stuff I need before going on holiday, especially an overseas trip. I’ve forgotten toothbrushes, cellphones… even cameras. So I make a checklist of items (especially ones which require a charger like cameras, phones, GPS, laptop) and pack them together in one compartment of the luggage.
Traveling frequently for business, I have a clear plastic box I picked up at the dollar store which I outfitted with a set of chargers for my devices for travel use only. The small investment in extra chargers is more than offset by the piece of mind of never forgetting chargers. Also, carrying a small power strip is a great way to make friends at the airport as people are always looking for places to plug-in.

Please explain how to charge the built in power storage and how do you know when it is fully charged? There were NO instructions in new 21 inch carryon.
