Samantha explores the Condesa neighborhood in Mexico City
Ever considered a trip to Mexico City?
You should. Great food, incredible history, fun nightlife and shopping. I rolled (literally) through the city’s beautiful La Condesa neighborhood on my last trip. Visit trendy boutiques, dine al fresco and enjoy all this bustling city has to offer.
I noticed there aren’t many parks or green spaces in the city, which is just one of the reasons why I love Parque Espana. It’s the perfect place for a stroll (or Segway Tour!), and gathering with friends and family on the weekend.
We loved Mexico City! We traveled with our two children, 3 and under one as well as my mother this year. We felt safe the entire time, though we did not go out on the town late at night. We stayed out for dinner a few times after dark and were comfortable. Our favorite place was Chapultepec Park, you could spend and entire week there with the museums, the lakes, the zoo, the castle. We also enjoyed our day trip to Teotihuacan and the many markets the city has to offer. One of my favorite meals with a simple torta from a market stall.
