What It’s Like to Dance with the Pussycat Dolls

Travel is all about new experiences and stepping outside your comfort zone. For me, dancing with the Pussycat Dolls certainly fits the bill.

There’s something about Vegas that really inspires a lady to embrace her sexy side. Or at least try! There’s no better team of mentors than the Pussycat Dolls. This dance troop meets burlesque squad started in LA at Johnny Depp’s Viper Room. In the years since have launched a pop music career, as well as a Vegas show.

These ladies put on a fabulous show. It’s definitely for an adult audience, but definitely more risque than raunchy. Think of it as a modern day burlesque performance that’s more about the tease than anything else. As they say, it’s all about the sizzle, not the steak.

How to Take a Page from Pussycat Dolls Playbook

They claim there’s a Pussycat Doll inside every woman. I tend to agree! All you need are the following items:

1. Boa. Throw one on and boom! Instant confidence.
2. Shimmy…. though I’m not sure I’m doing it right.
3. Booty Smack. I think I got that one down. Maybe a little too well. My one butt cheek was a little sore after our session.

It doesn’t hurt to have access to a gold stripper pole and/or a spinning champagne glass. But with two toddlers at home, I don’t think we’ll be adding either any time soon.

The Dolls performed for years at Caesar’s Palace, but have since moved. The plan is to open up a new– and apparently very French— version of their show across the street at the Paris. And in true Vegas fashion, the premiere is on New Year’s Eve. Sounds like a crazy-fun night in Vegas if you ask me!
