Virgin Gorda’s Stunning Secret Swimming Hole

This Virgin Gorda destination might be one of the most beautiful spots in the Caribbean.

The Baths National Park in Virgin Gorda are one of those places you need to see to believe. I experienced this breathtaking beach while on a Carnival Cruise I took with my mom and a friend. It was offered as a day excursion, and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity!

Like any vacation you take with the ones you love, there comes a time to split up for a few hours. On this particular day, my mom decided to read a book. My friend swam in the ocean (okay, more like got beaten down by waves in the ocean… but she looked good doing it!). I took a leisurely swim through one of the most stunning natural “baths” I’ve ever experienced.

I gotta be honest: If this were a competition, I think I won! If you’re heading to the British Virgin Islands, make sure to add this spot to your list. You can read a book anywhere!

  1. Thanks for sharing! That location is definitely on the to-do-list! Have a wonderful 2016, ‘The Always Fabulous Sam-I-Am!’ 🙂

  2. We owned a Sunsail boat and always took our guests to The Baths. Definitely one of the must see’s on any BVI trip! Comng thru the rocks to that open white beach (we always were one of the firsts coming from Peter Island), was magical and awe inspiring! One of my favorite places on earth!
