Traveling with Kids Made Simple

Back when I was nine months pregnant and HUUUUUUGE, I shot some very fun videos about traveling with kids. I dished about my favorite cities, regions, places far away and those close by. I even talked about where I wouldn’t take kids. It’s great advice based on my now 14 years of traveling far and wide.

As you all know (have I told you?) I am now the proud mom of two wonderful babies and am really excited about sharing the gift of travel with them as they grow up. But to be completely honest, what I’m really looking forward to is what these two little beings with their endless wonder and sense of discovery will teach me about the joys of sleeping, eating, seeing, and being somewhere new. Just as soon as they stop pooping their pants, of course.

So starting today and over the next 6 weeks there will be a new video posted each Monday. This week’s is all about my favorite types of destinations and the ONE thing that every kid’s destination needs.

What do you consider critical when choosing a destination or activity for your kids?

  1. Traveling with kids can sometimes be difficult. Make your life easier by keeping your child equipped with the best in kids luggage and bags. Browse and find some great choices that will help you keep your child’s things organized and ready to go for traveling in 2014.

  2. I have 2 toddlers and 1 teenager and honestly im not ready to travel with my boys. I dont know if I ever be really for that. Short distance traveling in our car is a challenge so i cannot imagine being inside an airplane with them.
