Infinity Pool Sunset in Greece

Happy New Year and hopefully you’re working on your bucket list for 2013.  Forget making resolutions, most people break them in just a few days.  Getting your travel plans in order for 2013 should be one of your top priorities.  I can quote a slew of mental health experts who will tell you that new experiences and getting outside your day-to-day routine are critical to creating lasting memories, relieving stress and most importantly – having something FUN to look forward to.

One of my favorite destinations is Mykonos, Greece.  The economy has been tough lately but you absolutely cannot beat the beaches, food, people and culture.  At every turn you find mind-blowing views and unforgettable greek architecture.  I hope the economy improves in 2013 and while you won’t find it on the top of everyone’s list, I’m daydreaming of this sunset, pool and enjoying all that Greece has to offer.

When you go, make sure your smartphone or camera has plenty of battery and storage.  You’re going to be snapping, sorting and sharing like crazy.  Here are a few of the shots I took on my most recent journey.

  1. Sam, A stop in Corfu is on our Sept 2013 cruise. Looking forward to it. I checked out the link you posted to Rick Steves article and I think we will enjoy our day on the island for sure.
